German and Luxembourg Tamil organizations have successfully organized the Folk Art Festival 2020 as a live screen festival on 16.08.20 to help folk artists. On behalf of the Festival Coordinators we would like to express our deepest gratitude to our members for accepting our donation request and helping our artists who have been weakened by Corona. So far we have received a donation of EUR 3,924 and donated INR 3,37,959 to the Madurai Muthamil Folk Arts Research Institute. This amount is being given in cash to the artists who participated in the festival and in kind to other artists and their families. Full details will be announced in the coming days.
